It was a wonderful stay!

5 of 5
We had the pleasure of staying for an extended period of time in this house in the Andes. Words cannot describe the serenity and beauty of this location. It offers a more "City like" experience as it is located in the few blocks that make up the "city", as well as a very scenic location with a brook bubbling right through the backyard. From the very beginning, even before we arrived, the owner of this house reached out to us and went above and beyond herself to welcome us and to offer to us any assistance that we may need. The house is in pristine condition with all of the amenities one can want, even a washer and dryer! There are 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full baths. One can see the care and concern the owner has for her property, and it is something guests should have in mind when they rent it and likewise, guests should return her property in the condition that it was found in. This rental is an upstairs of a house, with the back porch literally within the foliage of the trees. I was pleasantly surprised to see less insects and mosquitoes compared to Brooklyn. The Hamlet of Andes offers antique shops and farms, with all the neighboring people who are kind and polite. The one thing that I had a hard time getting used to is having deer run across the streets when driving these roads in broad daylight. I would recommend tick repellent to those who are coming who may be playing/hanging out in grassy areas here. I would return to rent this location if the opportunity arises.

Perfect Little Spot in Town

5 of 5
You can't do much better for a 2-bedroom right in town. Just a stone's throw from the main drag, this little gem provides quiet and convenience with a taste of luxury. The steam shower is my favorite part.

Magical.

5 of 5
Just book it, you will not be disappointed. Everything is exactly as shown and described yet somehow better. The location is tranquil, peaceful and a short 15 minute no traffic drive from everything you need from groceries to quaint shops. Ruth is lovely, she is there should you need her and leaves you be in this wonderful you feel like you’re all alone on this great property way. She gets it. For the first time using a homeaway rental I feel a seriously strong urge to look at long term rentals or perhaps even a purchase. This place is magical.
