            Perfect Lakeside Get Away!

            5 of 5
This was the perfect NYC get away. The house was wonderful, tastefully decorated and very comfy and inviting. Diane and Niles thought of everything their guests could need to be comfortable from excellent quality linens and towels to a thoughtfully stocked pantry and well equipped kitchen. The house could comfortably sleep 8 to 10 without it being cramped. And the lake was beyond fabulous. Again Diane and Niles thought of everything, providing a terrific dock, great outdoor furniture, a dreamy hammock, plenty of floaties, a canoe and kayak and even a lakeside fire pit for s'mores! We were very pleased that we could brings our dogs along, they enjoyed the vacation too! It was such a hospitable home that we spent most of our time on the property, next year we'll explore the area more. All in all, we really can't recommend this spot more, it certainly exceeded our expectations and we are planning a return trip next summer.

            Great! Will definitely stay again

Had 10 guys to stay the weekend in july. Great place. 3 floors, two decks , with a fully stocked kitchen (minus the food). Everything you need. Blender, toaster, Weber grill, full size fridge (takes a little time to reach cold temps due to it being empty). You get a kayak, a pedal boat, and a 20+ft canoe to use. The air hockey table is what u would expect. Puck rarely stays on the table, always flys off. The ping pong table on top of it was the most fun! Impressive dvd collection. Access to router/switch was great for bringing Sonos music system with me. Big screen tv in living room was great. Bathrooms were immaculately clean. And there are 3 of them, one on every floor. Be prepared to be very responsible and keep volume of guests controlled since there are neighbors that live their year round. Need to pick up after yourself and leave the place in the condition you found it in. The owner takes pride in his property you need to be respectful. Its not a place to be overly loud and crazy and leave it trashed. Its not a hotel room. Cant wait to rent out another property from this owner. Its a "we have to do this every year" kind of place.

Great location, beautiful views of the mountain

The place was as advertised. Clean and cosy. Slept 10 comfortably. Beautiful back yard with gazebo overlooking the stream and mountains. About 1.5 miles from Hunter mountain. Had a great time on the slopes and a short ride home. would definitely recommend this place.
