Charming Getaway

5 of 5
My fiance and I stayed at the Writer's Studio for a quick fall weekend getaway. We enjoyed our stay so much. The place was so charming. It was quiet and relaxing, but close enough to town to enjoy the shops and restaurants and so close to an amazing hiking trail at overlook mountain. The best part was our dog was welcome at the property. It is so nice to be able to find a dog-friendly place to stay that is so clean and neat. As a bit of a neat freak, I was so impressed with the condition of the studio and the surrounding property when we arrived. Chelsea was so helpful in reserving the studio for us and was on call for any questions we had that weekend. I look forward to returning the writer's studio in the future! Thanks for a great stay!

The Nest was cozy, clean & very comfortable. We loved being walking distance from town & enjoyed breakfast at Oriole 9. It is great that The Nest is so close to town, but is on a very quiet road. We saw a rabbit & a deer on our morning walk into town. I would certainly stay in either The Nest or The Nook (for a bit more room) again.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

5 of 5
This was a perfect cottage for a long getaway. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 5 year anniversary truly with other and this was perfect! No phone service, no TV, just fun conversations and exploring the mountains around us! The private yard was amazing, we sat in the hot tub surrounded by fireflies at night, and by day we all lounged on the hammock reading (our two dogs included!). The restaurants were much better than I could have imagined! We ate at Brios, Sweet Sue's, Alamo Cantina, Mama's Boy and all were fantastic. It didn't matter what we ate; it was good! Woodstock was about a 1-20 minute drive where we spent the day being tourists. We hiked the trail right behind the house and it's much steeper than it looks! But great views and totally worth it. I can't wait to visit again! We really enjoyed ourselves.
