AMAZING CYCLING GETAWAY

5 of 5
We thought we would take this opportunity to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Berkshire Estate. This estate has it all. Some of the highlights of the estate include; beautiful pool, separate building complete with table tennis, workout room, numerous fireplaces, beautiful bedrooms, games room with pinball, secluded location, and so many more amenities that they are impossible to list. The entire estate is furnished with period pieces that very much add to the ambiance. The purpose for our visit to the region was primarily cycling but the Berkshire Estate is perfect for any large group looking for a pampered stay.

The spacious and well-equipped house...the multi-level decks...the panoramic view of Queechy Lake...swimmer/boater-friendly dock...the incredible sunsets...the verdant rolling hills of the Berkshires...the gracious and accommodating host Mick Callahan...you couldn't dream of a more perfect spot to enjoy your vacation! A+! Marion Demick

GREAT PLACE!

5 of 5
Our group consisted of three adults and two VERY active one year old boys. The layout of the house made it very easy to manage the boys and there weren't too many things for them to get into--very important when traveling with toddlers. The home is tastefully, yet comfortably decorated. Bedrooms and bathrooms are lovely and beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and easy to work in. The owners are very lovely hosts and a pleasure to work with--we even had the opportunity to meet in person. They have lots of suggestions for things to do in the area--and there is plenty to do! Rainy weather prevented us from exploring the woods behind the house, but not the family of deer that sauntered through one morning! Location is wonderful, easy to get to, and situated so that many of the small Berkshire towns are within reach. Definitely a great place to visit--wonderful for families--and we look forward to returning!!!!
