Perfect apartment in Brooklyn BedSty!

5 of 5
We stayed here for two weeks. The first week there were 9 of us, the second week 6. What a charming apartment. 3 bedrooms and a large enough living room that was plenty spacious for our family of 9. The first night we didn't look hard enough for an air mattress in the apartment but Kenny didn't skip a beat and brought one over the very next day. The apartment was conveniently located three blocks away from the A-Train stop. Our family enjoy "living like the locals" when we travel so having an apartment in the revitalized Bedford-Stuyvesant area was a perk. The building is exactly as you would expect of a brownstone building. All sorts of quirky old charming details. It's a two floor walk up but why would you expect anything else in the East Coast? The kitchen was plenty big and had everything we needed. The bathroom was clean. We met the neighbor downstairs and she is super nice! The neighborhood is safe and quiet, we were walking around late at night after drinks at "Peaches" restaurant right around the corner. The food at Peaches is superb, best grits of the trip! We also indulged at "Beso", "Brooklyn Brewery and Burgers", and "Saraghina"...really nice eateries and all walking distance. Our go to breakfast places were "Emeline's" and "Brunswick Cafe", so great to have them close by every morning. The staff at all of these restaurants were so friendly...they made us feel at home. There were several corner stores for beers or milk or late night ice cream runs, very convenient. We did laundry at the Fulton Laundromat, what a clean place and close by so we had no issues at all. We've always stayed in Manhattan when we came to NY, but after this stay, I think we'll be coming back to stay in Brooklyn again. At the end of the trip, I certainly felt like I was at home :) GREAT APARTMENT and NEIGHBORHOOD!!!

Enjoy the Brooklyn lifestyle

5 of 5
We spent 12 days at this apartment with our two young children and had a wonderful time. We felt very well looked after by our hosts who are really friendly and helpful - will give you lots of local insights and make you feel right at home. The apartment is very comfortable, newly renovated and very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Located close to many Brooklyn delights - restaurants, an excellent quality grocer is steps away, great vintage clothes stores on 5th ave, the subway over to Manhattan is close by, and most importantly, you are moments from Park Slope's best coffee! Highly recommended!

Wonderful apartment

5 of 5
We would echo all the existing user reviews - this is a lovely apartment, if anything better in real life than in the photos, with friendly owners who live in the house above and so are on hand if there are any problems. Very clean, very well equiped, amazingly quiet but close to the subway, and in a lovely residential area which is away from the tourist hordes but full of excellent shopping and retaurants. Highly recommended.
