We stayed for 2.5 weeks in July and had a great time. We traded 90-degree weather in the city/Westchester for the much more pleasant 80-degree Bridgehampton version, along with powerful air conditioning and a great pool that we used every day. The beach is also great and not far by bike, but with a hedge surrounding the property we generally stayed at our own secluded, private party spot. Lots of cooking on the grill and dinners under the stars. While secluded the house is also very well located - the main drag of Bridgehampton is just a couple blocks walk if you want to venture out for a club sandwich at Candy Kitchen or grab various necessities (liquor, cooking utensils, etc). The Bridgehampton LIRR is also just a block or two away in another direction - seems really convenient for those who want to come and go by train (though we didn't use it). We hosted other couples (each time with a small child) and it was a good size for 4 adults + 1 child. We found the photos posted on this site to be quite representative. We would stay again!
