Charming home in peaceful, beautiful setting

5 of 5
We had a great time staying at Gisele's place near Belleayre mountain. The house is wonderfully quirky and charming, with lots of space. Windows run along the length of the house proving a great view out across the backyard pond and into the woods surrounding the house. The house was stocked with all the items we needed, and there was plenty of firewood for use in the fireplace! Everything was clean, tidy, and in good condition. Gisele was also very helpful and responsive answering any and all questions during our stay. There are some parts of the house that are clearly still being rennovated (some unpainted walls), but once those rennoations are finished the property will be even more amazing than it already is. We were only there a short time so didn't have an opportunity to check out the surrounding area, but Belleayre mounting is super close by and it would be a great place to stay if you're planning a ski trip. Would recommend to others, and hope we have the opportunity to stay there again!

Great Getaway Part II

5 of 5
My husband and two children went back to this spot with our extended family and had a blast. All of the space makes it a great place for the kids to put all of their energy to work! As other reviews have mentioned, this place is not fancy at all, but it's wonderful for people looking for a different type of getaway. The house is totally unique with tons of history. We spend most of our time there hanging out in the yard, going for short hikes, playing ping pong and board games. We love being off the grid with no cell phone access because it actually forces us to relax!
