Memorable Thanksgiving!

5 of 5
In our 10+ years of "cyber renting," Jeff's Barryville home was one of the most well-appointed and tastefully decorated homes we have stayed in. The house is spacious and airy with an awesome kitchen, spa-like bathrooms and incredible views from just about every room. Jeff is a very accommodating host, allowing us an early check-in due to an impending snowstorm. Erin is so warm and welcoming ~ it felt more like we had a friend next door than the house manager. She let us know she was available for anything we might need, but was never intrusive. The house is clean and well-maintained; it is evident that Erin cares for the house as if it were her own. The view of the Delaware and surrounding snow covered trees was beautiful beyond words. We hiked on the property and visited nearby Narrowsburg, but mostly were happy just to be in Jeff's warm and cozy home. Thank you, Jeff and Erin, for providing our family with wonderful Thanksgiving memories!

Family-friendly secluded waterfront relaxation!

4 of 5
We had a very nice stay over the July 4th weekend. The house is nicely secluded with plenty of space to play and relax, and the many extra features such as the lake access with watercraft and private tennis court were much-appreciated. The kitchen is nicely updated and well-appointed, including dishwasher, gas range, and microwave, with a large table suitable for family dining. A full size washer and dryer were nice to have, and the pool table was a pleasant surprise. The two full baths are nicely updated and tiled. The spiral staircase is neat but does make getting larger/heavier luggage up to the second floor difficult. One area at the back of the house was off limits, as it was under construction. Also be advised that the railing on the second floor overlooking the living room may pose a problem for younger children. Overall, we were happy to have spent our long weekend here and would consider staying here again in the future.
