I went to the Beaver Lodge with a bunch of friends and we had a blast!! All the amenities were included and the house was clean when we got there. We spent every morning on the lake in the kayaks (which was a great experience because the lake is SO beautiful) and the nights were spent by the campfire and huddled around the fireplace. There's so much to do at the house alone (grilling, cooking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, playing on the trampoline OR the water trampoline) that you really don't need to leave the house to have fun! We spent one day out of our week long stay walking around Hudson and seeing tourist spots. We also went to a cavern and walked through a cave. Other members of our group went go carting one day. The area was a adorable !! The lake was clean and fun to swim in. The icing on the cake was the water trampoline! This is a great place to go to if you want an intimate vacation with your closest friends/family. The owner was great through all of this. He ALWAYS answered my emails quickly and was very patient with my many questions. He outlined everything perfectly in the rental agreement and the trip went smoothly because of him. I look forward to renting from him again and I cannot wait for my trip next year!!! :)

There are too many wonderful things to say about this lakehouse, so here are the highlights: 1. Close to the City - about a 2.5 hour drive - so great for a weekend getaway. 2. Conveniently located to a super Walmart, Lowes, Beer/Liquor outlets, so you can stop there and stock up before heading to the lakehouse for the week/weekend. 3. Chris, the owner, is very accessible and professional. We appreciated the responsiveness. 4. The lakehouse was awesome - big family room, modern kitchen/appliances, comfortable rooms, huge master bedroom with soaking tub, available kayaks and canoes, fireplace, fire pit, nice patio... perfect for a group of friends or big family. We also brought our dog and she loved it there. The best part of the whole trip was canoeing around the lake with friends. Great weekend getaway spot! Highly recommended!

This was everything that we hoped for when staying here! We stayed here in the middle of October with some friends and family and it was just beautiful. Right on the lake we enjoyed some canoeing and hiking as well as some golf down the road. Would reccomend to anyone looking for the "log cabin" experience. Looking forward to going back!
