Best vacation ever!!!

5 of 5
We had a great vacation and definitely want to do it again! The property is beautiful with magnificent views and lots of grass and wild flowers with paths that our kids were able to run between. We also had a great time picking flowers with them. The cabin is clean and very well maintained with all the necessary amenities. Its rustic look is very charming. I definitely recommend this place especially if you are looking to totally zone out. It's really private. The owner is really helpful and answered all of our questions and gave us great advice.

EXCEEDING ALL EXPECTATIONS

5 of 5
Imagine a friends' reunion with four people getting together after decades apart, along with a few partners and spouses filled with both anticipation and trepidation. For this we needed extra-special comforts, state-of-the-art facilities, access to superb countryside views and walks, self-catering facilities for unforgettable cuisine, with lots of room for adult laughter and merriment but also for quiet moments of privacy, and, of course, excellent state-of-the art wifi to keep us in touch with the world. All of this and more we received. Topped by the most wonderfully warm, helpful, welcoming host. Michael has equipped the venue not only with excellent facilities and everything one needs for a long weekend away, but also with tasteful furnishing and decor, lots of books and videos, and a user-friendly kitchen with all implements supplied, everything needed for external barbecue, superbly comfortable beds, linen, bathroom towels, etc. Every photo on the website is an accurate refection of the attractive and spacious reality of the place. It is meticulously clean and cared for, and the pre-visit information is accurate and very helpful. The local towns (and the store three miles away) provide easy access to supplies. This is a number one vacation venue: for anyone looking for a dream vacation spot with home comforts, this is it.

The cabin is beautiful and so is the property

5 of 5
The time that we spent at the cabin was wonderful. The log home is beautiful and the house and kitchen are very well supplied with everything you need (feels like home - plenty of soaps, towels, kitchen supplies, sandwich bags, etc.). This is good because the cabin is quite remote and it's a real hassle to run to the store if you forgot something. This is definitely a weekend or week vacation house where you want to shop on the way there, and then plan to kick back and relax for the rest of your vacation. We enjoyed great challenging hiking on nearby trails as well as relaxing on the deck with some drinks as we watched the sun set. There were no houses in view from the front deck, which made the cabin feel even more remote that in actually is (there are neighbors nearby, but not within sight). After the sun set, we retired to the outdoor fire circle with a roaring fire. The owner has crafted wonderful rustic benches around the stone fire circle. We had a great weekend getaway and will definitely try to come back to this "cabin." We would recommend it to any of our friends too!
