A Warm, Comfortable and Cozy Condo - 8min. Drive to the Slopes.

5 of 5
I was delighted to stay at Whitebrook Lodge. The condo is conveniently situated minutes from Whiteface Mountain (much closer than the town of Lake Placid proper). Dan and Judy were very responsive, hospitable and caring hosts. The Wilderness Inn is a great restaurant to try-out - 5min. away; while The Little Market and Mobil Fuel station (also 5min. away) in Wilmington is great for groceries. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Wonderful getaway!

5 of 5
My husband had surgery yesterday, and we wanted a quick getaway before going to the hospital. This studio apartment was the perfect place to stay, and it was very close to Lapland Lake, where I went skiing. Cheryl and Doug are very warm and welcoming, and it was so nice to find a plate of homemade Christmas cookies for us! The apartment is spotless, and beautifully decorated with many Adirondack themed artifacts! (where did you get the moose clock, I loved it!) The bed, as noted in other reviews, is extremely comfortable, and there is a great hot shower! The location is perfect for skiing and dining as there are a couple very nice restaurants close by. Thank you Cheryl and Doug for the wonderful week-end! It was such a treat to stay at your beautiful studio apartment!
