So AWESOME...even two teenagers couldn't complain!

This was a fabulous house! Gorgeous architecture and everything we could have needed. Thank you for being great hosts and allowing us to stay at your Loon Lake home.

As usual, fantastic!

5 of 5
We've been home 2 weeks and are already prioritizing our next year's activities...there's just too much fun stuff to do! When we are both retired, and vacation-time isn't so limited, we hope to spend the full month of September at Lazy Days Lodge. We love all the new kitchen appliances- especially the extra large refrigerator and quick-boil burners on the stove! This year was especially great; the first part of our stay it was unseasonably warm- so we enjoyed appetizers and wine in the Adirondack chairs on the deck...then it cooled down, and appetizers were in front of a roaring fire. It is great not to have to bring clean clothes for every day. Having use of a washing machine allows us to pack the car full of toys (canoe, bike and hiking gear) rather than clean clothes. Some of us have allergies; we appreciate knowing in advance that we won't have allergy problems at Lazy Days because it is always very clean. Internet from in the house lets us keep in touch with our aging parents. And what can be better than steak on the grill and a glass of wine! I would recommend Lazy Days to a friend or relative, as long as they aren't trying to stay there when we are!

ALL YOU COULD NEED WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE

5 of 5
Being a single parent safety is always my first concern. With this cottage I have no worries. Just steps off the main street you find yourself in a family friendly area and I felt confident enough to allow my child to have time to himself for an hour or so. Shepards Park Beach is within walking distance as well as Fort William Henry, Million Dollar Beach and Around the World Putt-Putt. It is nice to be able to cook your own meals, sit out on the back porch or just have a cup of coffee while reading the newspaper on the picnic table. Without the added expense of going out for our meals it left me with the extra money to do something special: Kayaking, Extreme Sports, Fishing, or take a ride on a Steamboat. Remember you are just a short drive to Bolton Landing, Albany, Fort Ticonderoga, and Glens Falls. The cottage is clean and comfortable. It is just the right place for someone who doesn't need all the frills of a hotel and just wants a place to call "home" for awhile. This is our second year at the cottage with a planned return visit next year. Terri has been very helpful and willing to help me with any issues that arise. With no doubt I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants some peace and quite and leave to the vehicle "at home".
