Loved our summer vacation at Camp Pair-o-Docks!

                    5 of 5
We had an amazing week at the Camp! The house is beautiful and comfortably slept our whole family (6 adults + 3 kids). The house itself feels new, with beautiful wooden floors / beams, and is well furnished. The views from the house are terrific - the master bedroom has water on two sides and gets great light, and similarly the main living area and downstairs bedrooms have views of the lake as well. The house sits on Lake Paradox, ~4.5 mile long lake - there are other houses on the lake but in general it is pretty quiet. The lake is fairly shallow so is quite warm, perfect for swimming and other activities. We rented a boat and did a ton of water skiing and fishing, as well as kayaking and lounging on the swim rafts. The house sits on 320 acres with some good walking trails behind the house (kids loved swimming in the "waterfall" up the hill). Hiking Severance Hill leads to nice views, and you are not far from the High Peaks. The caretaker, Bob, was nice and very responsive as well. No complaints from us, we would definitely go back!

                    Idyllic Serenity

                    5 of 5
Gorgeous and unique property with incredible views out every window, including a stunning one to the High Peaks. Watched the sunrise over the mountains with coffee every morning from the screened-in porch. Peaceful and quiet at the northern end of this lake, while the charming hamlet of Long Lake (with groceries, ice cream and excellent public beach) a mere 7 min. boat ride away. Kayak access superb, with interesting and varied near-by shoreline. Beach and dock very nice. Several intermediate mountain hikes within 20-30 minutes, and Lake Placid an hour's drive away. Home and surrounding grounds are spotless, every light-filled room comfortable and well-appointed, including excellent outdoor spaces in every direction. Great bathrooms and kitchen has all tools needed for easy meal preparation, with excellent storage for grocery stock, since you will not want to leave once settled in. Owners lovely and accomodating, meticulous care in property quite obvious. Very sad to leave, looking forward to a return.
