November stay at Camp Bearberry

5 of 5
We stayed at Camp Bearberry early November 2014. Camp Bearberry is on a picturesque part of Lake Placid looking at the sun rise across the lake and Whiteface Mountain. Camp Bearberry is decorated in true Adirondack style with all the amenities one could wish for. The living room and it's roaring fire is a perfect setting to sip wine, eat cheese and take in the beautiful relaxing setting. Can't wait to return. We highly recommend a stay at Camp Bearberry.

Great memories made!

5 of 5
A group of us (including 5 adults and 2 little girls under 5) stayed here for 5 days and it was perfect for us. It worked well for us. The air hockey table was a bonus! It's a quick walk to downtown--6 mins to Starbucks. The fenced in yard put our minds at ease with the girls playing outdoors. The only complaint I have is that the pull out bed under the bunk beds was very dusty. I'm guessing it rarely gets used...but it would've come in handy. I just rolled it back under. There are a lot of household duties you are responsible for before you go--but honestly, for the price, I felt it was just fine. The screened in porch was great for dinners! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans...anything you'd need really. We used the grill...that was so great! We never used the hot tub--but we should have! All in all, I would definitely recommend it. We enjoyed it a lot. Thanks so much!!

Relaxing Getaway

5 of 5
A beautiful, comfortable, very clean lakefront home with breathtaking views! Everything you could think of is provided; from a full kitchen with much cookware, a dishwasher, laundry, and coffee maker. The king size bed was perfectly comfortable as was the living area furniture and dining area and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed nice long walks on the beach, viewed beautiful sunrises, a full moon, and enjoyed views from every room of the house. We enjoyed our stay here immensely and we feel well rested and rejuvenated. We will certainly be back and will recommend this wonderful relaxing/romantic getaway to our friends and colleagues.
