We visit Lake George every year in November to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this year, for our 43rd anniversary, we decided to rent a house instead of staying at the Sagamore or any other place that may have been available. Many places are long closed for the season by the time November rolls around, but we have gotten to know the best places for dining, shopping, or just visiting as the years have passed. Staying at this home completely changes your thinking in that regard. When you enter this home, it envelops you. It holds everything you would need. It is comfortable and relaxing; it invites you to stay. You really don't want to leave this place, and when you do, you can't wait to return. We spend four nights a year in Lake George, and this year we did a little shopping in the area and rode over to Glens Falls to watch the Adirondack Phantoms play Binghamton. Next year, if the place is available, and we hope that it is, we will be stocking up on everything we need before we get there, and from the time we arrive on Wednesday until the time we check out Sunday morning, we won't be going anywhere. Perfect place to just get away and relax. We had a party of five but the place will easily entertain at least twice that number with ease.
