Perfect experience - can't wait to go back!!!

5 of 5
We stayed at the Burch Street Casitas in August 2014 for a conference in Taos. Our stay was absolutely perfect - the Casitas are spacious, clean and beautiful, very well-decorated with everything we could want for our stay. They are in a quiet and very pretty neighborhood and only a 5-ish minute walk from the downtown/plaza area. Wonderful sitting area, back porch, kitchen, bathroom. Perfect all around! We highly recommend staying here and will be back as soon as possible! As a side note, go eat at the Love Apple while in Taos - our favorite place there!

Stunning Casa Bella Luxury Home in Taos

5 of 5
We spent a week at Casa Bella in Taos, NM. It was a fabulous vacation for our family of 9. The house was absolutely beautiful. Well stocked in the kitchen with every convenience you could imagine and enough towels in all the bathrooms to accomodate a large group of people. It was very clean and well-maintained. The bedrooms were perfect for having two seperate master bedrooms where you could have your own space if needed. The stream in back was such an added bonus, and the new full porch on the back of the house was absolutely wonderful for family gatherings. We ate on the back porch every morning and every night. The caretaker was so helpful and the mangement team provided wonderful customer service from the moment we inquired about the home, through the booking and staying of our vacation. We would absolutely recommend this luxury home! If you are looking for a warm feeling place to relax and regroup after a busy day shopping, hiking, swimming and many other things to do in the area, than this is the place for you. Easy access to Taos and Taos Ski Valley and yet you feel removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. Some things we would also recommend to do were: Taos Ski Valley for hiking or riding the ski lift chairs to the top of the mountain (and some of the best hot chocolate we have ever tasted at the Hot Chocolate Experts); the Rio Grande Gorge; Taos shopping at the main square; a wonderful toy store called the "Toy Store" with a fabulous playgound in back for kids to play called the Twirl (this is in the back of the main square); visiting the Taos Pueblo; eating at the Gorge and La Cueva Mexican (both in the heart of old Taos)- we had great food at both places, and right down the street in Arroyo Seco is a scrumptious place for breakfast or lunch or just ice cream called Taos Cow; cute little stores in Arroy Seco too; and also a wonderful grocery store called Cid's where you will find great quality food and nice prices.

Nice.

Really liked Casa La Paloma. Tracy was super helpful - was at the house when we got there turning on the lights and making sure everything was ready for us. The house is clean, fully stocked and well organized. Having Netflix was great for the kids, so they could chill out and watch their shows while we cleaned up/made dinner. The only negative about the place (and this is also one of the positives) is the location. It is about half way between Taos & Taos Ski Valley. So, it saves some time in the morning to get to the slopes. But, it is also a little distance from the restaurants/shopping. Plus, the house is located near the end of an unpaved road. The road is fairly flat, but I'm glad there wasn't a lot of snow or mud when we were there. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Casa La Paloma.
