Quiet Gem near Downtown

5 of 5
We were lucky to take advantage of a cancellation and stay at this wonderful casita during Indian Market week. We felt immediately at home and appreciated the cleanliness and amenities provided by our hosts. We loved having our own private patio for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The proximity to the Railyard and the Plaza allowed us to walk everywhere. We would love to come back in the winter to enjoy the kiva fireplace. Thank you for a great nine days in Santa Fe.

Fabulous place to stay

4 of 5
The casita was exactly as advertised. Convenient location, walk to the plaza. Easy access to the highway. It was clean and had all the amenities, just like home. The Wi-Fi never failed us. Lots of nearby restaurants and supermarkets (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's). We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Santa Fe is only an hour from Ojo Caliente spa and Georgia O'Keeffe's home. Don't miss either!

Secluded, Charming Casita

5 of 5
I've stayed at both casitas on the property on Pena Place for several years. I stopped looking for any other place to stay after finding Pena Place. The property is at the end of a quiet street in the lovely Guadalupe District. The casita is absolutely charming, and Roxanne, property owner, does a superb job of making it feel like home away from home. The vigas, floors, adobe walls and kiva are beautiful. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need, if you want to cook in. When you arrive, you'll find a bag of goodies to get you started on your vacation (milk, juice, fresh fruit, bread and always a sweet treat!). The quiet courtyard is beautiful and secluded, with only the sounds of a water fountain. The landscaping is beautiful and the property is immaculate and exceptionally clean. Internet access, CD player, DVD/Video and washer/dryer, make it very easy to never leave the property. The neighborhood is great and you're just a pleasant 10 minute walk to downtown SF and less than that to great shops and restaurants in the Guadalupe District. Roxanne is responsive and will follow up immediately if you run into any problems. Each year that I've returned, she's added some new touch to the property to make it even more special. It is a very special, wonderful retreat!! Not to be missed.
