LOVED THIS PLACED

5 of 5
My daughter and I stayed here for three night in December for our annual mother daughter trip. From the moment we walked in, we loved it. So well appointed and comfortable. The two very separated bedrooms, each with their own bathroom were perfect for us. I loved the sky-lights, in the bedrooms they added so much light, plus I loved waking up in the morning and looking up at the sky. The location was perfect, we could walk to Canyon Road and downtown. Both my daughter and me are runners and there were wonderful places to run near by. I love Santa Fe and when I return I will definitely stay here again. Thanks Rick for making your place so warm and inviting.

Delightfully Unique

5 of 5
This is my second trip to the Kirkman's home in Santa Fe. In fact I can't wait to go back. As and avid HomeAway user I highly recommend this rental, it is absolutely delightful. This home has the quintessencial quaint feel that is Santa Fe. From the porch you can soak in the beautiful sights of the sun rise and peaceful environment surround you. Grab a cup of coffee and try the porch in the morning. In the evening fire up the grill and throw some steaks on, hopefully you can still grab some garden grub compliments of the owners. The hot tub is a divine highlight, we plugged in some jazz and enjoyed some wine and cheese. If you get lucky Jason might let you sample his home brew... so good we had to take some some : )) This place feels, fresh, clean and has everything you need (from wine bottle opener to a toaster and a coffee pot), without the hustle and bustle. The cost is amazing and can't be beat. During the day try out the town, just a quick few minutes into town and you are in the middle of everything Santa Fe offers. We took in Canyon Road, the farmers market, some awesome restaurants. P.S. grab some pastries from the french bakery attached to La Fonda (it is heavenly).

Our Best Vacation Ever!

5 of 5
Dunshee's was recommended to us by former guests we met at a party. They raved about this place and said we had to stay there if we ever went to Santa Fe. My husband and I went to Santa Fe this Spring and everything we heard about Dunshee's B & B was true. We saw the photos online and they were an accurate reflection of Susan's sweet little place. The location is so close to the center of town but you feel as if you're in your own little world. We stayed in the "casita" and it couldn't have been more perfect; it was our own little home. Susan stocked the refrigerator with beautiful food, there were fresh flowers on the table, and great, fresh-ground coffee. Waking up in the cozy bedroom was heavenly and every creature comfort we wanted was there. We walked to the main plaza every day and were even closer to the Canyon Road art gallery district. Closer still were terrific restaurants all around us. We loved "Geronimo's", despite the pricey menu. Lower priced restaurants were just across the street and really good, especially the tapas at El Farol! Susan gave us tips, suggestions, and directions to wherever we wanted to go. She was beyond helpful and her home-made muffins and cookies were delicious. We shopped around, looking for fair hotel and B&B prices. After our stay, realized what a great deal we got for our money. We'll return to Santa Fe and when we do - we'll definitely stay at Dunshee's.
