Wonderful stay at Casa Candelario!

5 of 5
We had a really wonderful stay at Casa Candelario. I was attending a conference at the conference center, and brought my family with me (including a one-year old and a five-year old). It was chilly in Santa Fe while we were there, and we loved the heated floors and the chance to soak in the hot tub at night. The kitchen had everything we needed (including the little details that a stay so much easier- coffee filters, extra trash bags...) and was fun to cook in. Between the living room and the very spacious master bedroom, there was plenty of space for the kids to play when we weren't out exploring Santa Fe. Being walking distance to the plaza also made it very easy for me to get back and forth to my conference. Casa Candelario exceeded our expectations, and we'll be back the next time we're in Santa Fe.

Wonderful Week in Santa Fe!!

5 of 5
We stayed at this lovely home for a week in early April.....we traveled with 2 other couples and we all found this home totally met our needs. The location is perfect!~ We were able to walk to many of the areas we wanted to visit.....the Plaza, Canyon Road, restaurants, etc. Everyone had their own space....bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, the great room area was so spacious that we could watch tv and still have room for private conversations.....the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The caretaker was helpful and courteous. The owner called midweek to see how everything was going . We felt we were able to experience what that part of New Mexico had to offer. We took day trips and it was really nice to be able to come back "home" and relax in such a lovely setting. Thank you Bonnie and Doug for sharing your home with us!

It really is that great!

5 of 5
This house really is a work of art created by the owners and you get the feeling that you are a welcome guest and not just a renter. I enjoyed just walking around the house and the property noticing all the details and feeling happy for getting the chance to live in the house. I was even more fortunate to meet the owner who told me all about the construction and design that made the house a home. Over the years I've visited Santa Fe many times, but because of this home I saw it in a whole new way this trip. I enjoyed running the trails in the open space and the public trail head is just up the road, less than a mile. Santa Fe has a lot to offer, but except for making sure I got to have breakfast at Tia Sofia's, I could go there again and be happy just to stay at the house and wander the property and trails around it without even going into town. I've stayed at maybe half a dozen Homeaway properties, and none disappointed. Most got five stars, but now I feel like I need to award six stars because this has been the best of them all. Thank you Albert and Connie for creating such a wonderful home and for allowing my wife and I to share it. We really hope to return soon!
