Sandy's Cottage is a true Ruidoso gem!

5 of 5
This is a fabulous place to stay. Packed with all you will need. It's in a great area of Ruidoso and has a great view of the mountains to the west. The cabin was packed with all we needed to cook and live there for our time in the Village. Larry was very easy to work with and promptly returned my security deposit. This is definitely a nice cabin to rent for your mountain get-away.

A Great Cabin, A Flowing River, & a Gorgeous Cabin

4 of 5
Although located on the owners' property at the end of a city street very near shopping, we found the cabin to be quiet except for the wonderful sound of the nearby river and the pond just outside. The cabin was well-appointed and included a washer/dryer. The only drawback, and it was minor, is that the bathroom is located on the main floor & the bedroom is upstairs. A nightlight would have been nice; we just left a light on. The location was great for getting to the nearby attractions. We rafted the Animas River, visited the magnificent Mesa Verde National Park, and spent an afternoon at the horse races. This was the priciest but far and away the nicest of the places we stayed on our 6 week visit to the US southwest.
