Most Amazing, Unique Accommodations in Santa Fe

5 of 5
To put it simply, Rass Mandal is perhaps the most unique and wonderful place we have ever stayed (including many high-end resorts around the world). Our host Richard greeted us when we pulled in the driveway and was extremely friendly and welcoming. As he gave us the tour of the property, we felt his genuine enthusiasm and we shared it as we explored this amazing place. If anything, the photos online failed to show exactly how beautiful the whole house, exterior, and view are. Richard gave us all the information we needed and was very responsive to any questions and requests we had. The house was set up with all the supplies and amenities we could want, including cooking ingredients, high-end kitchen equipment, washer/dryer, a great sound system that was Airplay-enabled, and Wifi. The infinity deck provided superb views of the gorgeous sunsets, the hot tub was a great way to relax at night, we cooked smores over the firepit, the observation deck on the roof was serene, and the main "dome room" was an amazing place to hang out late at night listening to meditative music or trying some yoga poses. The kitchen and dining areas allowed us to easily cook and eat most of our own meals at the house. The master suite was a little warm, but after opening the windows it cooled down sufficiently (and the Wifi didn't quite reach the master suite but this was a minor issue). Sitting high in the hills above Santa Fe, it was isolated and quiet and great for hikes and runs on the many trails surrounding the property, but still only a 15-minute drive into town for groceries or to enjoy the restaurants and cultural amenities of the city. We loved the Plaza area, Canyon Road, Tent Rocks, and the cliff dwellings at Bandelier National Monument. We could not recommend this property more highly--it was truly a magical destination for us to reunite with old college friends for a long weekend, and we will be telling everyone we know to consider it for their next vacation.

My husband and I spent a week in Santa Fe at this lovely cassita. This was our 3rd trip to SF and this was the best rental by far. This cassita is just great with very comfortable bed and lots of fluffy towels in small bath. Kitchen is fine but with all the great restaurants we didn't cook just had coffee in the morning and cocktails on the great patio in the evening. Highly recommend.

Experience of the Casitas

4 of 5
On a hold everything was good. We all thought it was very clean and just a charming place. A couple of complaints one my brother had to change light in small bathroom off the kitchen in the Mariposa house not convenient think you should have spare light bulbs for people. Also microwave above stove is broken should be replaced or taken out it smokes when turned on just so you don't have a fire. A couple of the people think more towels are needed especially when hot tub is used. Also a bar of soap at the wash basins not all people bring it we just happen too. But we were all satisfied and would come back again and definitely recommend it to people that would be going to the area. One thing there is a restaurant I think you should put in your book it is fantastic I think it was called Picollini or Picollino outstanding and we loved Weck's. Property was a good fit for all of us because we all got to be together.
