CUTE, COZY, AND COMFORTABLE

5 of 5
This is a very pleasant, clean, nicely decorated studio (not a one bedroom). The kitchen is small, but adequate for most needs, and while there was no air conditioning (which is common in this area), the fans worked well, and we were very comfortable. My favorite thing about this casita, other than the quiet, the solitude, the great views, and the friendly owners, is that it is located north of town in a sparsely built area and my dog had miles of sagebrush meadows to run in and play. While there was no fenced-in yard, there was a private deck with a hottub and great scenery. This is a very dog friendly area, and that was much appreciated. WiFi worked well, and the dirt road to the Casita was bumpy, but easily passable in my front-wheel drive. Also, being north of Taos was nice as we could avoid the heavy traffic around the Plaza in the middle of town and have easy access to the nearby attractions north of town. I would definitely recommend this place.

PEACEFUL NATURAL GETAWAY

5 of 5
The accommodations are exactly as described. Peacefulness, natural surroundings and with all the amenities you need for a soulful and relaxing stay ( so much better than a hotel!). The owners are respectful of your privacy, very accommodating and friendly...we feel lucky to know such nice people. Hiking areas are all near by, the famous Rancho de Chimayo restaurant, and Entrance to the National forests across from Santa Cruz Lake recreation area, make for full days everyday that you can talk yourself out of just hanging out in the private hot-tub with a view. We will be back for certain.
