EDUCATIONAL ARTS TRIP

5 of 5
We arrived as an Educational Arts Group with 24 senior and junior high school students and had an excellent experience. Out accommodations were superb. Each student was able to have his or her own bed in the available rooms. It was easy to make arrangements to suit to suit the needs of the group- for common meetings and seminars, creating art work on site- painting and drawing as well as clay workshop and a pit firing. The house is art piece in itself and provided inspiration, as well as informed the students about he New Mexico and its history. The tile work throughout the rooms stands out as much as does the architecture itself. The kitchen was a very well equipped commercial kitchen with an intimate atmosphere. Students cooked their own meals with teams rotating through and each enjoyed their culinary collaborative experience. It was especially gratifying to be able to reach someone with any questions. As we were in the house in winter, the rooms were warms and added heat was provided by the gas fire places provided in each of the rooms. Each room is carefully designed in its decor and gives a sense of place. We located the Hacienda on line, and found the listing description as well as the images accurate. All places were clean and well maintained. All of our questions were readily answered and communication in the planning was consistently accurate, clear and helpful. We would readily recommend this property to friends and relatives, as well as educational groups looking to work together as a group with their own goals, and travel in the area exploring the Southwest from Alberquerque to Taos and the Ghost Ranch, as well as all of the Sante Fe area.
