Nido del Rio--center of exploration and relaxation

                  5 of 5
We are repeat customers at the Nido--two weeks last year and nearly three weeks this year. It is a very comfortable home set in a laid-back, rural environment, surrounded by a small orchard. While isolated, it is an easy drive to locations such as the Rio Grande del Norte National monument, Bandelier National Monument, Ghost Ranch, and the galleries and museums in Taos and Santa Fe. Hiking, Fishing, rafting, and dining opportunities abound. The small coop in nearby Dixon can fill most of your grocery needs and the local wineries and brewery produce excellent libations. Add in a varied but generally agreeable spring climate in northern New Mexico, it all sums up to a relaxing and inspirational respite from day to day affairs.

                  AWESOME Seclusion

                  5 of 5
My wife and I have stayed at this Adobe twice. We always pine to go back because of it's originality and the fact that it is so private and quiet. The interior is perfect for those who want to relax and get away from technology. The patio outside the bedroom is perfect for morning coffee or reading poetry while enjoying and evening glass of wine from the local winery. The patio area is perfect for cooking out and chilling out. This place in not for everybody. You have to "get" the vibe this adobe puts out to really appreciate the location.
