We had a great time at the Central Avenue House. Plenty of room for 20 or so guests. It was fantastic being 2 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from shopping and restaurants. In addition, it was only about a 3/4 of a mile walk down the boardwalk to Asbury Park. Owner was extremely welcoming and hospitable. We spent a lot of time on the front porch and got to meet many of the friendly neighbors. Plenty of seating in the dining room but relatively small kitchen so large meal preparation is challenging. Fortunately, you can simply walk into town and eat so could be a plus. Enjoyed getting to know the town's history and listening to several performances in the "Great auditorium" as well as touring the "Tent City".
