My daughter and I stayed here for 5 weeks this summer. This home is even more lovely in person. The attention to detail from the beautiful tiled foyer to the paint colors, crown molding, fixtures and finishes in the luxurious bathrooms, made this a home away from home.
This area of Jersey City is beautiful. Great restaurants and shops already exist with many continuing to come into the area. Van Vorst Park is right across the street where there is a Saturday farmer's market that has fresh produce, and food vendors. The town home is walking distance to Liberty Park. We watched an incredible 4th of July fireworks display and concert put on by Jersey City with the Statue of Liberty in the background. It's also a far less crowded location to take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
We commuted daily into Manhattan. The Grove Street Path Station is safe and convenient. A few blocks from the town home and a short, 20 minute ride to 23rd street, for $2.50 each way. The Grove Street station also has direct routes to World Trade Center and 33rd Street.
There is so much more I could say about our experience. It was above and beyond our expectations. It was so nice to leave 'the city" at the end of a long day and have a beautiful neighborhood to walk through on our way home and a spacious, comfortable place to cook dinner and unwind for the night.
