GREAT LOCATION WITH EASY ACCESS TO THE CITY

5 of 5
This was my first time staying in NJ for my trip to NYC, and I wasn't disappointed at all by this choice!! I didn't have to meet up with Shillae as she had a note ready for my arrival at the front door which made it less stressful on arranging a time to meet (thank god since my ride took hours to get there!!). However prior to arriving she provided me with plenty of options on how to get there from LGA, which might be a little simpler! Walking into the apt, it looks just as the pictures posted. It's a clean and cozy space, yet there is plenty of room. The view of the city is to die for! There were some bus routes left as help to plan which way to go, but when talking with concierge, he told me of a shorter bus that runs way more frequently and stops at Bus 125's stop (which is a short 3 blocks west from the entrance to the building) and goes directly to Port Authority. Best piece of information! The ride in only takes about a half hour and it costs $3 cash one way. Fortunately I didn't have to bother Shillae during my stay, but she was very accommodating, friendly and helpful when I did contact her (thanks for the check out misunderstanding!!!) She can always be reached via text or phone call. My only real concern was the low water pressure which I found out later was not normal so I did inform her of it on my last day which she appreciated finding out about and was going to promptly look into it. I was still able to have a shower and brush my teeth so it wasn't that big of a deal to me. Also had to pick up some garbage bags and paper towel, but there's a couple places right down the block for that, so no big deal! I enjoyed my stay so very much, Shillae! It was the perfect place and location to stay!! I hope to book with you again in the near future!

THE ONLY WAY TO VISIT NEW YORK CITY!

5 of 5
I came to New York along with two friends from Texas, neither of whom had ever been to the East Coast. They both loved the house, and so did I. We all appreciated all the conveniences this house has to offer. My friends especially liked the idea of being close to all New York has to offer, but yet away from all the noise and crowds. One of them enjoyed using the TV setup to catch up on old episodes of "The Office". Travel tip: If you have access to a car when you're here, it's about a 30-minute drive (in light traffic) to City Island, in the northeast Bronx. You'll never believe you're in New York - it's as if a New England fishing village somehow got moved to the city. We're all looking forward to coming back there next year.

FANTSTIC PLACE TO STAY

5 of 5
My wife and friends stayed here for the memorial weekend and found it to be beyond our expectations. Clean, well decorated, spacious very nice upscale suburban neighborhood. Everyone know Mr. Rodd. in hes area, he is the greatest host we ever experienced (the house is within an easy drive to everywhere, shopping, dining whatever we wanted to go, we like the idea to just park and ride to Manhattan, NYC , etc...). The pool and the outback Pation with built-in-kitchen was inviting and the beds very comfortable. The area is very quiet when you want to sleep yet the home is great for entertaining, smart home with music everywhere,It was more than sufficient for us; I can easily see a couple of families being accommodated without crowding. We got to meet some neighbors, who own their own properties, and found them very welcoming. We recommend it highly and will stay there again. Thank you Mr. Rodd for letting us use your beautiful house.
