West Cape May is fabulous!

5 of 5
This house is lovely, comfortable, and has nice amenities including numerous bikes. It was great to park and then walk or ride bikes to activities or dinner. We had a wonderful visit.

Lovely home with ocean views

5 of 5
Thoroughly enjoyed a girls get away here. There were 9 of us and we all enjoyed the home, very spacious and super comfortable. The owners description is spot on. The porch with ocean views and rockers was one of our favorite places to gather and the dining room table comfortably fit all of us with elbow room. The furniture is comfy and inviting, beds were the same. It's located close to everything, we walked almost everywhere. This house has all you could ever need or want, would highly recommend it. The owners get right back to you and were a pleasure to work with.

Simply Wonderful!

5 of 5
My wife, son, and I always take a vacation in August someplace on the water. This year we were WOWED! A 5-star experience I would recommend to anyone! Dill and Ken are fantastic. Upon arrival you are immediately made to feel at home. None of those awkward feelings one often gets when staying at an owner-occupied rental (they live in the apartment upstairs). Their laid back hospitality makes you feel like family - or better yet, old friends. They are fun, genuine, helpful, and thoughtful - the type of folks anyone would be proud to have as friends. As rental hosts they are perfect - they are there when you need them, but when you don't they are cloaked to the point where you wouldn't even know they were in residence. Ideal. The house itself is wonderful. Open, airy, and bright. It's immaculate. Everything is brand new, having been rebuilt from the ground up after Sandy. All of the appliances, fixtures, and amenities are first class. The kitchen is set up with anything you could ever need right down to the condiments. Large screen DirecTV, wifi, iPhone dock for your tunes, you name it. The deck and dock have to be seen to be believed. Literally on / over the water. One can relax on a lounge chair listening to the waves lap at your feet as you watch the sun set over the Delaware Bay. The place is good for your soul! The property is in the midst of the Heislerville Fish and Wildlife Management Area, a place renowned for its shore birds. A nature lover’s paradise! If attentive you can see Egrets, Mergansers, Black Skimmers, Herons, Cormorants, Plovers, and large flocks of Sand Pipers. And let’s not forget the birds of prey – Osprey, Hawks, Falcons, and Bald Eagles – yes, Bald Eagles! As remote and peaceful as the location is, you are only 30 minutes from all of the action you could ever need – Cape May, Wildwood, shopping, restaurants, etc. The best of both worlds. No review would be complete without mention of Dill and Ken’s friend and neighbor Howard. Howard is retired from a life-long career and is now a commercial crabber. He is genuine, friendly, generous, and as charming as the day is long. We had him over for cocktails and dinner a couple of times which was truly a treat. My wife is a crab nut so he loaded us up with a bucket’s worth (plenty of females since he knew she liked the roe) including a collection of soft shell. We cooked them up for her birthday dinner. A night to remember! Thank you Dill and Ken! We will return! Ed C
