            Perfect for family

            4 of 5
This is everything Dave says it is! Quiet, cozy, family oriented cabins are well appointed & each has a privacy screen to make you feel separate, yet part of it all, too. A quick walk to town, boat parking & bike path. We were made to feel very welcome as we celebrated our 50th anniversary with family. THANK YOU DAVE!

Outstanding vacation! We loved it here!

            5 of 5
We rented the entire Lady By The Lake to celebrate an "Old Friend Reunion" with several families in June 2014 and had a marvelous time! The home and property are very well maintained & stocked by Rick & Lynette who were wonderful and responsive hosts both before we arrived and during our stay. If you're interested in a downtown lakeside Wolfeboro location the LBTL simply can't be beat! Aside from using our cars a handful of times for day excursions we walked everywhere in town; to restaurants, the grocery/drug store, a couple museums, mini-golf, etc. There's a very small sandy patch of beach abutting the lush green lawn which our children very much enjoyed. Fishing from the dock was also great fun! We visited in mid June so the water temperature was still a bit chilly, some called it "refreshing," but the lake is crystal clear and clean! We loved that each unit had its own kitchen and washer/dryer. The weather was wonderful during our stay and we grilled out nearly every day. I'm not sure of the local ordinances but the LBTL could benefit tremendously from the additional of a gas grill or two. We found the charcoal grills to be somewhat of a pain as they took a while to heat up and cooked quite unevenly. I wholeheartedly recommend the LBTL for a wonderful family vacation!

            Great, relaxing vacation; perfect location

            4 of 5
My sister and her family and my family spent 7 idyllic days here. The location cannot be beat--on one of the best streets in Wolfeboro, walking distance to town, and only steps away from the boat rental place. The dock and the outdoor spaces can't be beat. We had unbelievable weather--sunny, warm, not humid, and always a breeze off the lake. The house was perfect for our 10 family members, and we had everything we needed. The kitchen is a bit tight, but we mostly grilled outside and we loved eating outside on the deck or in the large dining table on the sun porch. All in all, it was a perfect week and we can't wait to come back.
