The perfect location for our 50 year anniversary

5 of 5
This home was all that it was advertised to be. Linda and Jay are the nicest people and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. It was clean, neat and well equipped with everything we could possibly need over our week's stay. We came to North Conway to celebrate our 50th Wedding anniversary and my 70th birthday and could not have asked for a more perfect centering point for the 23 family members who were to celebrate with us. Two families stayed in the campground next door, one in a local motel and the other with us in the farmhouse. The time around the campfire on the property is a time I will never forget - our hosts were so generous to allow the family to visit and to play. There were even toys for the young ones. We totally recommend this farmhouse to anyone who wants to rest, explore the mountains, shop or enjoy the local attractions. And we feel we have found new friends in the very sweet and hard-working Linda and Jay!

Just what a farmhouse should be

4 of 5
My husband and I rented this farmhouse to host a pre-wedding dinner party for our son and family members prior to their wedding at the Mt. Washington Hotel. The farmhouse was the perfect gathering place. We were easily able to accommodate 14 people for dinner with plenty of room for all. We really loved the privacy that the farmhouse provided at the end of a quiet lane, and especially enjoyed the hiking trail down to the river. The house is well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The house has a special charm and it is everything you would expect an old farmhouse to be; no frills but very relaxing.

Beautiful, clean, tasteful and friendly

5 of 5
Last summer, as Appalachian Mountain Club Climbing Committee, we chose this place as accommodation during our annual Rumney trip. It couldn't be better. We had a great time with large kitchen, beautiful porch (some of us actually slept in the porch while it was raining and it was a great experience), great music and books selection. The proximity to cliffs was the best part! The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. We loved this place and we want to come back every year!
