5 Stars, will not disappoint.

5 of 5
We are experienced Homeaway/VRBO renters who often ski out west, stayed east this year over school break. Our requirements: impeccably clean; comfort and style; location central to several ski mountains. All met! If there is snow on the White Mountains - grab this home quick! Accommodation: Top notch, well-appointed home. Our two families stayed in comfort (kids shared the bunk room). We enjoyed the beautiful home and great location. Quality bedding, linens, and all accoutrements. The Owners' attention to detail evident, so gracious and welcoming. Ski: Easy drive to Loon (family oriented with some ski shops in town), Canonn (Bode's Miller's home mountain- no frills- for heartier types), Waterville Valley (family oriented) ( all within 20-30 minute drive), Bretton Woods (family oriented with a few more amenities) a little further- but worth it. Skied them all. If you go to Bretton Woods, go another 20 miles to explore/shop the little town of Jackson, the waterfalls-beautiful!, and see the Eagle Mountain Resort- just charming, like walking back in time. Need ski rental? Friends were pleased with Exit 28 rental (and Pizza!). Good rental equipment-priced right and the Pizza- delivered- was good too! Little ones you'd like to put in ski school? Loon definitely- great beginner program. Our "newbie" was skiing blues by the third day. Dine: Dinner at Mad River Tavern a must (you'll pass it as you arrive)- rustic casual, warm and great dinner. Make a reservation! Woodpeckers, no frills, good to great food, but after dinner hours, more of a roadhouse bar (families before 8). Would keep this great mountain home our little secret, but the gracious owners deserve the 5 star review.

Great Mountain House!

5 of 5
This is a great mountain house. The style is fantastic, well done! The interior is decorated well, and it was very clean. The only thing is the stove could be updated, it works, but it's slow and takes a patient touch. The owner put thought into this rental, and it truly makes your visit easy, comfortable, and enjoyable.
