A Fantastic Hilltop Retreat

5 of 5
My wife and I just returned from a ski vacation at Tuttlebrook Lodge. The owners were a pleasure to work with and they have a lovely and warm hilltop location with mountain views in several directions, including stunning vistas of Mt. Washington. The home is in a very private location but amazingly close to all roads necessary to enjoy the area. Bretton Woods and the Mount Washington Hotel were only about seven minutes away. The log home itself is a fun stay and great for kids to explore. It is amply furnished and has all the amenities that make for an enjoyable stay with plenty of room to spread out after a day of activities. We have rented a number of log homes in the area over the years and this immediately became our favorite. We would do this again without hesitation.

Pictures are an UNDERSTATEMENT of God's Country!

5 of 5
Absolutely beautful home that's so well kept. Marie and Paul even think of things you don't! Deep in the heart of the majestic White Mountain region, it's not only the perfect home away from home, but from here you can easily access Franconia Notch, Bretton Woods/Crawford Notch, Loon Mountain/Lincoln, or even further to Beaver Brook Falls and "Moose Alley"...take the scenic routes through the main streets of towns like Lancaster or Bethlehem. It's romantic as well as an adventure nestled deep in God's Country. Don't even think about looking at a hotel/motel in the area...call friendly Marie and Paul. We will again!

Well-kept and equipped

5 of 5
Stayed here for two nights while snowboarding at cannon. The cabin was built by the owner himself, and very well kept. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a TV, internet, DVD player, surround sound, and a jacuzzi (although we didn't get to it). There's also a fireplace with a large stockpile of firewood, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The blankets were somewhat too light for me, but there may have been more hidden somewhere. All in all, it was an affordable homey accommodation, and I would recommend it.
