Best rental ever!

5 of 5
Our family of 3 has been renting houses for 1-2 weeks each summer for most of the past 10 years-- on the NJ shore and on Lake Winnipesaukee. George's house on Loon Lane was perfect in every way. We knew from experience nearby that the location would be spectacular, but we were amazed at how smoothly everything went-- both the rental process on "Homeaway" and the care George takes with the house to make sure that guests' comfort is maximized. It was wonderful to be able to "get away from it all" and yet get work done whenever I wanted to (briefly!) thanks to the excellent Wi-Fi and cell service. We will be recommending this rental to friends whenever possible.

Beautiful, comfortable cottage

5 of 5
Quality, comfort and all the conveniences of home! This cottage is as nice as it looks in the pictures. The pine log construction and the overall appeal of the cottage decor were a very welcome sight the day we arrived. And the huge mudroom was ideal for ski boots and other gear. The combined kitchen/dining/living area is a good size for several people, and the furnishings are attractive and comfortable. The appliances and fixtures are high end, and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the bedding gave every room cottage charm. It was convenient having clean linens and towels provided and for having access to a washer/dryer. Having nice bathrooms on each floor was convenient as well. We also really enjoyed the game room in the basement. The location of the cottage was perfect for our needs - it felt very private and quiet, yet it was a short drive King Pine, North Conway and Black Mountain in Jackson. The owners were very responsive and accommodating.

Best Place for Kids

5 of 5
Stayed here for a week with 5 adults and 5 small children. Family voted best place we've ever stayed. The house is very comfortable and the beach area is perfect for small children. There is plenty of space to play in shallow water, a lovely sanded area, and the water is very clean. And there was plenty of shade for the adults on duty to sit and watch the kids. Tons of sand and water toys available. As stated, stairs are very steep, but even our 3 3-year-olds managed well. Kitchen provided everything needed, many staples were available. Close enough to Conway for shopping and movies. Plenty of parking, quiet location, and unequaled sunsets. My only suggestion would be that if you have small children, and they are sleeping upstairs, invest in a $12 potty chair at Walmart. Saves navigating the stairs in the middle of the night. Loved the fact that they provided the linens and towels. This place truly had everything we were looking for, and we had a great week.
