Quiet, comfortable, not too near beach

5 of 5
This was just what I was looking for--quiet neighborhood, comfortable surroundings. Short drive to beach. Great place to relax. Loved the back yard with its critters I don't see at home--a cardinal, chipmunks, porcupines (I think). Nice back porch, screened in. Good for relaxing with a cold drink and a book.

PERFECT!!

5 of 5
The cottage was beautiful. It was in a great location at hampton. Only a 3 - 4 minute walk to the beach and podium at the heart of hampton. It is a 3 minute walk to the nearest packie / convenient store for anything you need. 3 new bars literally across the street, I recommend the goat! The cottage looked new, cozy, and it was great to come back to after long days at the beach. Anna is a great manager, checks to make sure your set when you check in and then leaves you on your way to enjoy your vacation at this great home. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at hampton. Parking for 2 but can easily fit 3. Furniture, beds, stove, fridge, all are in great condition. Cable was nice to have when just trying to relax for a bit. I can go on and on about the cottage, just trust me you will not be disappointed. Great place, great location, and anna is a great manager. Will defiantly be comming back next summer. -Shawn

A very comfortable, clean home away from home!

5 of 5
Met with owners upon arrival..very hospitable and explained all amenities in detail. Home is very, very clean, updated and filled with everything one needs for comfortable living. Just a short 5 min. walk to beach..close enough but far enough away to have a quiet home. Little store and donor at the end of the street and Rye is a very interesting area with restaurants and shopping within a short jaunt. Everything one needs for the beach is available at the house. The main deck is large with plenty of seating and the deck off the master is a perfect place to enjoy a coffee or a nightcap. The neighborhood is very well kept and very quiet. Would recommend this house to anyone and everyone and plan on renting it again in the future. Thanks again to Jon and Jean for making our time in Rye hassle-free and welcoming....they are wonderful hosts.
