Seafood Festival Fun

5 of 5
I stayed at Mike's Cottages for the Seafood Festival this year. Best place to stay! It was closer to the entrance where the statute is than any other parking lot. The place was very roomy and clean, stocked with all appliances in the kitchen. I did ask for extra pillows and they were clean too. Very private yard even though it's right at the heart of the beach. I played my music and nobody bothered me. It was cold at night in September so we stayed in and watched movies- there are tons! Free! This place was booked way ahead of time for the summer so I hope to get my week next year.

Home Away from Home

5 of 5
Every summer my husband and I do a road trip from Florida to New England. We have kids and grandkids there and like to have our own space. We found this wonderful cottage and we are glad we did ! Everything is as pictured ...the space is clean and well maintained...I loved cooking with the gas stove...it's the little things that make you happy :) Other years we have had to go to the laundromat..and this year we were treated to a washer and dryer. The cottage is close to Trader Joe's...one of my favorite stores. It takes less than 15 min. to downtown Portsmouth where we we met an old friend @ Surf Restaurant..sat on the outside deck overlooking the Piscataqua River. We had lunch @ Lexie's on the water near the cottage...great beer selections and sandwiches. We did a tour @ the newly opened Smuttynose Brewery and visited Portsmouth Brewery downtown Portsmouth..for beer and lunch. This space is close to everywhere we wanted to go..it is quiet at night..slept like a baby...Need I say more...Loved It !

San Diego vacationer

Absolutely charming, every possible beach amenity possible. House was clean and fully stocked. Took full advantage of the outdoor camp stove and lobster pots. I hosted dinner for family in the area and they couldn't stop ranting about the location and charm of the house. The listing photos displayed of the property didn't exactly reflect the appearance on line, it was so much better in person! Thank you to the Fergusons, it was a vacation to treasure. I would highly recommend this property.
