Fantastic

5 of 5
Unlike most rentals, this place exceeded expectations and the pictures. It's well decorated, absent of personal items/pictures, has a modern remodel, and has a fantastic layout. We stayed there with 2 adults, and two little kids - with a $15 kid gate up, it was also incredibly kid friendly, too. Dan was a pleasure to deal with - professional and courteous, and I enjoyed meeting him for a quick local drink. All in all 5/5 - absolutely no complaints.

This was our first time staying at this cottage. It was exactly what we needed! Close to a great beach and had everything we needed!

Great getaway

5 of 5
This cottage on Swains Lake was perfect for our family and pet beagle. The owners said it was rustic, and we thought it was a step above. The rooms are nice sized, the new windows have wonderful views of the lake, and there were enough amenities to make it comfortable. The owners provided a kayak and brought over a canoe the next day. The neighbors were also very friendly and let us borrow their kayaks and life jackets. We also enjoyed a bonfire at one neighbor's home and a boat ride with another neighbor. Even our dog made 4 friends with the other dogs in the neighborhood. What a great community. Other than a few excursions to the supermarket or to pick up some pizza, we never left the lake. Our only regret is that we could not stay for a full week! Highly recommended.
