Great week at the beach

5 of 5
We stayed with 3 kids and had a great time. House was very clean, comfortable and very close to the beach (just across the street). Garden and patio in the back was nice, too - we enjoyed evenings by the firepit. Rooftop deck with ocean breezes and view of the beach and ocean was fantastic. Owner was great to work with, too. Definitely would like to come back!

Relaxing week on the lake

5 of 5
Stayed here with my mom dad and aunt for the week. It was wonderful. So quiet and peaceful. Expected it to be very busy since it was July but we were pleasantly surprised. Learned to kayak. My dad and I went out every day. Loved swimming with the fish who hung out at the shore! The house was very nice and comfortable. We loved eating on the deck and just watching the water. Great week, thank you!

Great getaway

5 of 5
This cottage on Swains Lake was perfect for our family and pet beagle. The owners said it was rustic, and we thought it was a step above. The rooms are nice sized, the new windows have wonderful views of the lake, and there were enough amenities to make it comfortable. The owners provided a kayak and brought over a canoe the next day. The neighbors were also very friendly and let us borrow their kayaks and life jackets. We also enjoyed a bonfire at one neighbor's home and a boat ride with another neighbor. Even our dog made 4 friends with the other dogs in the neighborhood. What a great community. Other than a few excursions to the supermarket or to pick up some pizza, we never left the lake. Our only regret is that we could not stay for a full week! Highly recommended.
