            3RD YEAR... STILL THE BEST

            5 of 5
This was our third consecutive year of renting at the Penthouse and a follow-up review to what I wrote three years ago. As I in my previous post and what everyone has said since, there are few places like this anywhere and nowhere like it anywhere close to Hampton Beach as a rental and worth every penny. You might expect each year you go to a rental to find a few more maintenance items, things getting a little long in the tooth and dated… not at the Penthouse. Terry seems to go out of his way to make sure things are not only in perfect shape week after week, but updated year after year. All linens, bedding and towels are still to die for and perfect. My kids and their fiends were delighted with brand new sofa beds and new top-of-the-line foam mattresses on the instead of the normal thin bar ‘through the back’ stuff you find elsewhere. The new patio table, patio chairs and loungers were a really nice upgrade. Trying to figure out what more can be said about this space, I decided to focus on how this place facilitates unique ‘family time’. This has become a special tradition for our family and friends. As parents of an 18 and 19 year old, it is difficult to find somewhere for vacation that can make everyone happy, give them space, give parents space and at same time provide time together. The layout, location and luxury of the space make it ideal for families of teenagers that may want to bring a few tag-along friends. Our kids can bring their fiends or have them drop by and have plenty of space on the back side of the deck or in the media room and at the same time my wife and I can have a few friends and hang out on the front of the deck. That said, we always find that at the Penthouse has this unique way of making the normal parent/kid/teenager barriers seem to evaporate when people gather on that front deck to people watch with the tunes cranking on the sound system or even on a rainy day all spread-out in the living room watching movies - Everyone just blends together. Terry my family thanks you again for your hospitality and another vacation of wonderful memories.

You couldn't ask for a better location for the seafood festival. We stayed for a week and had several day trips. Salem, MA, Boston, Portsmouth, and a Conway Scenic RR. We loved this as a "Home Base". We look forward to booking this room again in the future. Very comfortable, neighbors were friendly and helpful, and I feel we have some new friends that we hope to see again when we go back.
