Wake up and smell the ocean...

5 of 5
This is the quintessential beach house; it is the perfect location with the perfect beach. Wallis Sands Beach is home to many locals in the off season. Even with this past record snow fall; I took a 2 mile walk on the beach almost every morning. There were always locals and dogs and sometimes surfers (yes in the dead of winter!) The house is stocked with every amenity imaginable - you can cook a gourmet dinner and retire to the fire pit in the evening with a glass of wine. The rooms are well decorated - very Country Living. The absolute best feature is the looking at the ocean anywhere from the front of the house; it is just breathtaking beautiful. Dan is an outstanding host and will make sure life is good in Rye. My family and I are looking forward to our next visit; good memories are made here.

Absolutely Perfect!

5 of 5
This house was immaculate and held all 9 of us comfortably. Richard was very easy to work with as well. The location was perfect for taking walks to the beach and not have to worry about finding parking. I would definitely recommend staying at this house for your vacation.

What a great place to stay, we had the best time!

4 of 5
We stayed in this adorable, vintage decorated cottage last summer with our family and had the best time! It has the best of both worlds because you can feel like you are tucked in the trees overlooking the lake or you can lay out or fish off the dock or beach right on the lake. I loved the fact that it has two fire areas, one right at the water and one on the patio with an outdoor fireplace. There is plenty of room to park and a lawn area to throw a ball. We had everything we needed inside. It was a great balance of updated accommodations of today and neat reminders of yesterday with all the vintage touches of a great cabin. This is just up our alley. It's like a storybook to me. Everything we wanted to visit was within minutes of this location even the ocean. But we didn't leave much, the kids had so much fun in the in the water, swimming boating and fishing that we spent most of the time at the cottage. It was great that they had two showers an indoor and an outdoor shower the kids loved it. I would recommend bringing soft luggage because there are shelves, drawers and hanging space but not a lot of extra room for suitcases. Jen and Jamie were great. They are such nice people and helpful with everything. They even left us complimentary syrup and hand made NH soap! Thanks Jen and Jamie! We can't wait to come back. Sincerely, The Savage Family
