Lovely and Relaxing

5 of 5
We had a lovely and relaxing time in Lincoln at Gene and Marie's house. They welcomed us in, although later in the evening, and were warm and gracious. They had good recommendations of hikes and places to get groceries and information on the area. The space is well laid out and has enough space to get away and relax within the apartment (2 complete bedrooms), yet common shared space to be together. There were many details that they thought of: cold waters in the fridge, plenty of towels, a washer and dryer, warm blankets a plenty, a Keurig with options, hot chocolate, a first aid kit, great kitchen equipment to do your own cooking, and wood outside ready to make a fire. Their wrap around porch was charming and inviting to sit on. The beds were nice and comfy, and I like a firmer bed and the master bedroom was nice and firm, but not too firm. The location was a nice walking distance to a coffee shop called Half Baked, and was a street off of the main highway, but you didn't hear the traffic at all. Although there were other tenants in the house, we rarely heard them and felt like we had the place to ourselves. We enjoyed the location in the White Mountains since it was close to several day hikes and cute little towns. If passing through Lincoln, I would definitely stay there again.

Perfection: Again!

5 of 5
We stayed last year and had a great time, so we came back and had a great time again! Who says you can't repeat perfection? We did! The weather was perfect for kayaking (which we did 3-5 hours a day), and the water was warm enough to swim every day. We went up thru Broad Bay to the Danforth Ponds and two-thirds of the way around Lake Ossipee by day, and paddled out to the middle of Ossipee at night to see the full moon rise. We cleaned up driftwood every day and brought it back by kayak to make fires on the beach at night. We hiked in the Town Forest lands, hiked Sabbathday Falls on the Kanc, and walked over to Spindle Point a couple days. My husband and sister biked around the side of the lake in the neighborhoods a few days. We all had no trouble sleeping all week! We hope to come again and have more fun next year! Thanks so much, Ron and Louise- you have the best spot on the lake!

A Glorious Experience!

5 of 5
I loved every minute of my stay at this beautiful spot. Toni and Ricky were lovely hosts and very helpful and generous. The grounds are like those at a five star resort and the amenities in the apartment and on the property are top notch Far more extensive than I expected and of superb quality. I was in the area for work and looked forward every day to coming "home" for a peaceful time in the kayak or for a refreshing swim and relaxing dinner overlooking the lake. I appreciated the quiet and beauty of the apartment and surroundings. I would return in a heartbeat and feel like Toni and Ricky have become friends I would enjoy seeing again. This is an ideal destination for a couple of single person. A true joy.
