Just keeps getting better!

5 of 5
This was our second time staying at Talon Lodge, and it was just as good as the first time if not better! Everything we needed was provided. The location has a beautiful view, plenty of hiking options and the unbeatable First Connecticut Lake not even two minutes down the road. We had a couple new comers this year and they were impressed on how incredible everything was and that it stood up to how much we talked the place up! Everyone in town is helpful and nice. It is truly an incomparable vacation that I would recommend to any nature lover out there!

"Camp David" was beautiful, spotless & private.

5 of 5
When my husband & I 1st pulled up to "Camp David" & I saw the nice high top table on the back deck over looking beautiful Lake Francis, I knew where I would be spending most of my week vacation! The cottage was nicer than the pictures and all the extra's provided, linens, paper goods, hd tv, sirius radio (which I just loved) & out door fire pit, just made our stay that must more enjoyable. When we weren't fishing, in our own boat that we pulled right up to shore, we relaxed on the back deck & enjoyed the views! We already can't wait to go back next year! Plus, when we met Dave, he is such a nice guy and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

Great ATVing and resting location

5 of 5
My wife and I stayed here for 7 days of excellent relation. All the comforts of our home plus a large front lot to the water's edge and a nice fire ring. Plenty of space to play games or enjoy the ducks and sounds of the Loons, especially at night as we sat in front of the fire. And if you enjoy seeing stars at night---great place to recline in our zero gravity chairs to view the night sky. Fantastic place if your an ATVer, your 5 minutes from plenty of trails. As for inside the cabin--very comfortable--up to date appliances and plenty of silverware, dishes, glass wares and pots/pans, comfortable couch and love seat.TV fulfilled it's job, plenty of channels. It's rustic but comfortable. We purchased bundles of wood at a near by lumber yard, good size pieces and super dry $4.50 per bundle, well worth it as bringing wood from south of Concord is dangerous. Be careful of the Ash Borer bug----keep the North Country Free of these bugs. There are plenty of choices for places to stay---but this place is well worth the money and drive to this area. If we were to come back to this area, we would stay here again without any doubt.
