I’ve rented this condo from Mary Jane for 3 years and can’t say enough good things about it. It’s clean, updated, HUGE, well taken care of, quiet, great views and so much more. I rent the same weekends each year to ski with my family of five and we all feel excited when we get there and always sad to leave. If I didn’t have set weekends each year I probably wouldn’t write this review for fear of this hidden treasure becoming booked solid. We usually come up alone (just my family and we only use the main floor and two bedrooms upstairs) but this year we invited another family to stay with us in the basement studio and it worked out great. They had their own fridge, coffee maker, bathroom, etc which really gave each family their own space. For beds on the lower level there’s a queen sized bed and full or queen pull-out sofa. The main living area is large with open kitchen/dining/living room and has its own bathroom. As mentioned it also has great views and a screened in porch with an outdoor deck which look great (we don’t use b/c we’re there during the winter months). The kitchen’s well stocked with everything we needed to get by, even a veggie peeler which was needed and we didn’t think would be there. Upstairs has another bathroom and two bedrooms. The kid’s bedroom has two twin beds and we put our third child in the middle of the two beds on an air mattress. There’s also a washer/dryer on this floor which we’ve yet to use but good to know it’s there if we needed it. But the best bedroom is the master, it’s got a super comfortable mattress and most importantly a huge window that overlooks the mountains. And it’s always quiet, we always see other cars in the parking lot but we never hear a thing. The front door lock is button coded so there’s no worrying about keys – just punch in the code. Internet is fast enough to handle video streaming. Location can’t be beat, it’s about a mile or so (not exactly sure) from either downtown North Conway (old N. Conway – Horsefeathers restaurant, Joe Jones Ski Shop, etc) and about the same to Cranmore so you’re right there. But overall, it’s the little things; like the furniture isn’t from 1978 with 30 years of stains and wear, the carpets don’t have any stains and aren’t worn, the walls/doors all shut properly and don’t have scuffs and aren’t outdated, the heating system actually works well. Meaning, it evenly heats the condo and doesn’t click or bang or have a fan that revs up to 50 decibels.
