Great Getaway Destination

5 of 5
My family and I have rented this house 2-3 times a year for long weekends and week long getaways over the past 5 years or so. We just love this place! The kitchen has all the necessities to cook your meals. The bedrooms are good size and easily fit a pack and play along with all your other belongings. The large back deck has a beautiful view to admire while you cookout on the grill or sip on your morning coffee. The house has a loft area on the third floor with a tv and board games for the family to take advantage of on a rainy day. It's close to the lake and other recreational destinations for the summer, with skiing and snow mobile trails easily accessible during winter time. There is also a great country store about 10 minutes away with homemade apple donuts and other treats. And don't forget to checkout the farm stand!

Lovely house

5 of 5
The house was perfect for our fall weekend vacation- beautiful area, lots of comfy couches, and nice and warm. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the space is flexible enough to accomodate a crowd- we had three couples and a baby, and there was room to spare. Heather was very responsive and helpful (perhaps most important of all). We'd love to come back to experience the place in summer too!

Just Beautiful

5 of 5
We had a wonderful weekend at the most beautiful spot on newfound lake this past weekend! This home was comfortable, roomy and we all enjoyed every moment; we take these mini vacations to search out a nice comfortable place that we can all enjoy for a 2 week vacation in the summer (my husband has had several back surgeries and comfort is one of our priorities). This beautiful vacation home was that and more . . . . After reading a negative review from a family from Manhattan, NY, we had to respond. She wrote that this home was too close to neighbors and crowded and the lake was dirty; we felt this was a totally inaccurate account of this home. The incredibly comfortable beds; the ceiling to floor windows from the bedrooms, the kitchen & living areas couldn’t have been nicer; also, our closest neighbors were 100 ft+ to the R and L of the home and about ¼ mile away from the bottom of the hill. Not sure why she suggested there wasn’t privacy especially she lives in a city with a population of over 1 million +. She also wrote that the lake was dirty; now we definitely know she was out of her mind because Newfound Lake is a crystal clear spring-fed lake. constantly fed by underwater springs. This house was immaculate with many modern updates. I will recommend this rental and we plan to rent this home for 2 weeks for all out summers to come. Just lovely.
