Great Home... Great Area

5 of 5
We had a great time in Newbury this summer - beautiful views, perfect home, and great area. This spacious modern home is set up very well and was very comfortable for our entire family. The layout was perfect to give all our family members their own space. Being in the heart of Sunapee, we were able to take advantage of all the local activities (and lakes). In the evenings, it was great sitting out on the deck, enjoying the hot tub, and taking in the serene environment. House is perfectly situated on a great lot, and this hill top neighborhood is perfect for walks, running, and biking. Mount Sunapee is right around the corner, and is ideal for climbing in the summer and skiing in the winter. We were there when the leaves started turning, and the colors and views were spectacular, especially with a morning cup of coffee. We would recommend for our next stay, or for any family looking for a great place all four-seasons long.

Wonderful experience!

5 of 5
I could not agree more with Keri (reviewer #1). The cottage is beautiful and there is everything you need to cook delicious meals using products purchased directly from the farm (steak, sausages, eggs, maple syrup, freshly picked vegetables). There is a lot to do in the area—hiking, swimming (my personal favorite was Squam Lakes Natural Science Center). Marc --the owner--knows how to make you feel comfortable and welcome. We had a wonderful time and we hope to come back. Thank you again Marc!

Beautiful Log Home

5 of 5
When I viewed this home on the site I just knew it was the perfect place for our vacation in New Hampshire. When we arrived it just took my breath away. It is even more beautiful in person. The log cabin is new and clean and fresh. The view is like the most beautiful painting. The sunsets over the mountains were just gorgeous and different every night. Many pictures were taken. We were lucky to see a mother, father and baby deer one morning. Great hiking in the area. So grateful to have found this very special place. Thanks Marcy for being such a great host!
