EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS!

5 of 5
An absolutely great vacation house for a group of 16 (9 adults, 7 kids ages 5-14). Here's what we loved about the house: - The house was fully stocked. The only thing we needed to bring were clothes and food. Nothing else. Things we brought that we thought they wouldn't have (e.g. Keurig), they had it. - There was much more room than anticipated. The pictures make the spaces appear small, but they are not. We never felt like we were on top of each other. There were plenty of places to go inside and out. - A screen house off the dining room was a very popular and comfortable spot for the older folks who wanted to stay out of the sun in the day, and stay away from the bugs at night - but still feel like they were outside with everyone else. - Two refridgerators! A huge plus. - The game room was a hit with the kids. - The bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, well kept, and spacious. - The boats provided with the house (canoe, 2 person kayak, 1 person kayak, paddleboat) made for great fun and activity for the entire family all week. - The lakefront setup was well manicured, beautifully lanscaped, and configured for maximum relaxation as well as activity. There was a great spot for the older adults to go in the water waist-deep. The kids swam to and jumped off the floating dock for hours on end (as did the adults). There are plenty of spots to just relax without being on/in the water as well (huge deck with plenty of seating, adirondack chairs in multiple locations, hot tub, screen house, hammock, bedroom balconies) - A beautiful spot on the lake. Bring a sweatshirt for the early morning chill in the summer. Gorgeous sunsets every night. A few times a loon made his morning and evening dives for food just beyond the dock. - The ownership was attentive, responsive, and clearly knows how to provide a space and atmosphere that allows a large group or family to have a wonderful lake house vacation. Short story long, we loved the house. We ventured out to Weirs beach one day and the minute we got there, we just wanted to go back to the house. That's how much we loved being there and on the lake. We will definitely be back to this house!

BEST HOME AT WINNIPISAUKEE!

5 of 5
This is the fourth time we stay at this home. In our mind, there is no other place to stay at the Lake. The owner is a delight to work with! The house is perfect for a family stay. It's warm and homey with lots of toys for the little ones to play with. There's also kayaks, tubes, a canoe, and plenty for the adults to use and play with and a compressor to blow up floats, etc.! There is a closed in porch that is perfect to spend mornings and evenings in to relax. The open floor plan makes it easy for everyone to be together while playing, cooking, or watching t.v. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking. There is a full sized washer and dryer and plenty of towels and linens. There is a family of ducks that come to visit every day. The beach is perfect for playing and getting in and out of the water even for little ones. There's a large yard and firepit which got well used to cook marshmallows! There are fresh blueberry bushes near the dock. The dock has a large area at the end that is perfect for fishing and relaxing.I can't say enough about how wonderful this home and owner are. It is also close to Hannaford's for groceries, a children's museum in Meredith, as well as restaurants, shops, and Dewey's Ice Cream - a definite trip every year. While there is much to do nearby, you really won't want to leave the house. It truly is a home away from home with everything you could possibly want or need for a perfect vacation! I would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants the best Lake vacation possible!

GREAT PLACE FOR A NH FUN FILLED VACATION!

5 of 5
My extended family (parents, cousins, siblings and spouses) spent a week at this property and had a great time. The owner is very easy to reach and answered all my questions. The houses are clean and have all the amenities listed. The porches are perfect for chilling and the beach is just a hop skip and a jump away. No need to drive it is right there! We played games on the front lawn and there was plenty of seating for us during meals. The screen porches are welcoming and relaxing. The bedrooms were nice and big. We are planning on coming back again next year because we had so much fun and everyone really loved the house! - Some fun things that we did were: Polar Caves, Squam Lake Nature Science center, Monkey Trunks, Drive-in theater and the West Rattlesnake Mt Eagle Cliff Train in Squam lake (I would recommend all the above as well :-))
