            A little bit of Heaven

            4 of 5
Spent one week here. Wish it was more. Quiet neighborhood away from main roads but close enough to anything you might need. Celeste was a big help with pointing out places to go and things to do. Saw one of the best sunsets ever from the front yard over the pond. I never wanted to get in the car to go anywhere, but kids being what they are, can't sit still as long as us older folks! Make sure you don't rent it during my next vacation. I may just go back! Thank you Celeste .

            All the comforts of home!

            5 of 5
We stayed for a weekend at the end of October to attend an event in Loudon. The nicely designed studio cottage on a quiet dirt road had a very spacious feel. Everything was clean, well-stocked, functional, and efficiently laid-out. We made a great meal in the kitchen and ate at the cute little table in the dining area, overlooking the pond outside....relaxing! Very quiet at night for sleeping, and the beds are comfortable. It is a small cottage, but we did not feel cramped due to the nice layout. Just be aware that this is a studio cottage and you will not have separate bedrooms, so if that's a concern for you this may not be your ideal accommodation; however, as a couple, it wasn't an issue for us. Owner lives on the property and is very sweet and easy to talk to. We attended an event at the race track in Loudon and later went to dinner in Concord, all easy to get to from this location. I would highly recommend this property if you are staying in the area for an event or just want to spend some time in a very quiet, peaceful spot. We had a great stay and hope to come back again.

            The Barton/Gill Family Reunion

            5 of 5
We had a fantastic time! 18 family members stayed in the "big old wonderful house" (and had room to turn around!) We canoed, kayaked, swam, grilled, ordered steamed lobsters locally, had smores by the camp fire, took naps on the swing, sat peacefully by the lake and vowed to return and do all it again! Family came from Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, Maine and New Hampshire for a reunion and the Cottages at Harvey Lake was the perfect setting. Thank You, our gracious hosts, Lee and Nancy. This is your warning...we're coming back!!
