Perfect family getaway

5 of 5
Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids toddler age) loved staying here while we were in the area for a wedding. The house itself was incredibly well appointed, clean, exactly as it was described in the write up. We've never experienced any outright lies on sites like Homeaway, but sometimes there are misleading half-truths. Not with this house - it's the real deal. The basement area was perfect for letting the kids run wild with these scooter-type toys they had. (they were pretty fun for adults too....) The kitchen was well-appointed and great for us since we wanted to cook a lot of our meals. The house is at the end of a very quiet street, and we loved walking over to the ski slopes and collecting fall leaves. It wasn't snowing yet when we were there but it looked like they had all sorts of fun things to do during the winter season. Before and after the trip, the owner was very easy to contact with questions, and they have someone local who stopped by the property after we got settled in, just to make sure everything was working the way it was supposed to. Don't miss the Intervale pancake house at the end of the street!

Perfect Lake Cabin

5 of 5
We had a great stay at this lakefront home. It's amazing to wake up, step onto the screened in porch looking out at the water. Or laying in the hammock in the back yard watching the sun go down. We had 6 adults and 2 children staying here and it worked out perfectly. Luckily, 2 of our adults didn't mind sleeping in bunk beds, but you can always move mattress's around to make it work for you. The living room was comfy and cozy, with enough room and chairs to fit everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here, I would definitely come back in the summer where you can enjoy swimming and fishing off the dock as it was a bit cold in October when we stayed. Celeste, the owner, is so nice and very accommodating. She really made me feel taken care of and available if we needed anything.

Our 3rd visit and still AMAZING!

5 of 5
Another relaxing stay at the cabin. We had fun swimming, fishing and making good use of the canoe. We also had a blast with the paddle boat, which was not there at our last stay. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets with the dogs while sitting on the porch. We will definitely be back again. Thanks for sharing this wonderful cottage!
