Cozy, cabin decorated, peaceful home!

5 of 5
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a winter weekend in March & loved it. It's decorated so beautifully, like a cabin in the woods yet has all the modern amenities of a full house. We loved cooking dinner in the kitchen, using the grill and wood burning oven in the living room. It's a very comfortable clean house at a great rate. We would definitely stay here again. :)

Home away from home!

4 of 5
As soon as we walked through the door we felt like we were in our own home. Everything was perfect for us. The garage and 2 bathrooms are a plus. For us the garage meant no cleaning off the cars before heading to the mountain and no wet clothes in the house. It is away from everything but close enough at the same time. The neighbors are great too. The house was clean when we got there and plenty of pillows and blankets. The description of the house and the pics were just as it is. Although we skied a few different mountains over the course of the winter on a whole King Pine is our favorite. If you are looking for a family friendly mountain and very reasonable head to King Pine. Groups with a variety of levels are best here. The more advance have a chance to "play" while the beginners have a safe place to learn. I've been skiing there since I was 11 and not much has changed. The "kids" loved driving themselves to North Conway for shopping and "hanging out". Zeb's was visited every weekend. The mattress on the pull out couch is a little thin so it wasn't very comfortable but we really didn't need that extra bed with the 3 bedrooms and 2 couches. The "yellow" bedroom is right above the furnace so it can be a little loud when the heat kicks on. When it snows there is a plow that comes and takes care of the development as well as the driveway. Be careful though as the ice gets pretty bad but the owners have a big container of salt right on the porch alongside the shovels. On a whole I would definitely recommend this house for layout, location, cleanliness and affordability. It is a REAL home.

Excellent location, nice amenities - great owners

5 of 5
The owners have made some improvements from our previous visit last year. The house was painted, some of the carpet looked like it had been replaced and a breakfast nook had been added. The canoe was larger - which was very convenient for the nearby swimming and boating ponds. The house was clean and seemed to be well maintained. The owners were very responsive to our questions and there were several maps and brochures available for the local attractions. We love the location, the local community -Edelweiss - has lots of options for the kids, from a local hike in the back yard, to the ponds and nearby lake. It is also a very quiet location on a small side road where there is no traffic, making it easy to sleep in. We were only 10 minutes from Conway Village and a the local Mexican restaurant called Cafe Noche, and 20 minutes from the shops in North Conway. For an avid hiker like myself there were many options for getting out into the White Mountains or cruising along the Kancamagus Highway. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice quiet spot to enjoy the Conway area or the mountains.
