Large House on Loon

5 of 5
This is a great house right on Loon Mtn. The owner responded to emails and questions quickly and was easy to deal with. We were a group of 11 adults and there was plenty of space for all of us. When we arrived the place was extremely clean. The kitchen has all necessary cooking tools and there's a huge dining table. Large Smart TV in the upper living room. There's another room in the basement with a TV, huge sofa, small and large tables. Six bedrooms so plenty of space for couples and singles. You don't have to worry about taking the trash to the dump here- you just have to separate trash and recycling and leave it in the shed. The only things I'd change is the late check in time and early check out and there were not many TV stations- but the TV in the living room has Netflix so that was a huge plus. Overall we really enjoyed this house and would return.

Wonderfully relaxing family getaway

5 of 5
We had a great weekend at the Loon Home to celebrate a milestone birthday. Becca, the property manager, was very accommodating throughout the rental process. She sent us a home information sheet in advance with all of the necessary details including directions to the house, contact numbers, and other house information. She also had binders in the house with suggested activities in the area. Our group consisted of three adult couples and everyone was pleased to have their own space in the house. The layout allowed privacy but also provided great spaces to gather together for conversations by the fireplace and meals in the dining room. When you are at the house on the mountain you feel like you are truly away on a trip, but if you want to have the conveniences of great restaurants and shopping, those amenities are mere minutes down the road. On Saturday the girls enjoyed a great spa day at the Daydreams Salon and Spa in downtown Lincoln. The staff was super friendly and both hair and nail services were excellent. For meals we cooked breakfast and lunch at the house, which was made easy because the kitchen was fully stocked with all cookware and a keurig coffee maker. For dinners we enjoyed the Gypsy Cafe and the Common Man. The house is beautiful and the peaceful, quiet setting relaxed everyone immediately upon arrival. This set the tone for a restful weekend. We were thrilled with our stay and can't wait to return again now that ski season has commenced. Thank you!!!

Weekend Retreat

5 of 5
I recently rented this property for a Ladies Retreat. When we walked in the oh's and ah's went on for 15 minutes of how beautiful the place was. There were 9 of us and no one had a an issue on where to sleep. Each room was better than the last. We didn't even go out to eat. We enjoyed this home to the fullest. We had no problems with any of the amenities, the beds were so comfy. I can't wait to rent this property again!
