GREAT PLACE! GREAT WEEK! GREAT MEMORIES!

5 of 5
We were first time renters...just getting our feet wet and couldn't have asked for a better place to do so. The house was clean and sufficiently supplied with the every day items needed to run a household. It was literally a home away for home. The view was beautiful and could be seen through almost every window in the house. My family enjoyed many meals on the deck and many fires in the firepit by the water. Having the paddleboat and kayaks right outside the door was fantastic. We all enjoyed them. The beach was great for my young grandchildren. We were blessed with beautiful weather for the entire week, making our vacation a time we will always remember. The memories will last a life time.

Very enjoyable family reunion

4 of 5
We were looking for a low key house for a small family reunion and this was perfect, very easy to be there with lots of kids in bathing suits. It’s just what they said, an old school summer camp that is kept clean and kept up. What surprised me was how beautiful the views were as it sits right on the lake. There were stairs down to the dock which I was not sure about but ended up loving as it added an extra level of safety. We had a great time and the day it rained, there was lots to do in Meredith.

Great House in a Great Location

4 of 5
This house is RIGHT ON the lake. It has a beautiful, unobstructed view of the water and some of the best sunrises. Even in mid-winter, when we were not going in the water and everything was covered with snow, we could still appreciate the location. Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far from all the fun. We went to Gunstock Mountain for skiing and tubing which was an easy 25-30 minutes away. We were also close to Meredith Center and not far from Funspot, which was a GREAT rainy day activity. The house was nice. The master bedroom is very spacious, but the other bedrooms are more modest in size. The first floor is pretty open and welcoming, which was perfect for our family with 3 small kids and a dog. It would be nice if the basement were finished just to provide even more living space and a place to let the kids play or watch a movie and have a separate area for adults to gather. We were pleased that there really was EVERYTHING that we could need. All cooking appliances and gadgets that you could need, lots of movies and even a decent selection of board games. The owners were VERY accomodating and responsive. We would not hesitate to rent again and recommend this house rental to anyone looking for a great, quiet lakeside home. -Gina D. Whitman, MA
