Incredibly relaxing, the perfect getaway!

5 of 5
My husband and I had an incredible time at this little piece of paradise in NH. The cabin itself it absolutely perfect for a couple. You could use the pull out couch for two children but it might be a little tight. There is only one bedroom. For the two of us and our dog it was exactly the right size! The cabin has everything you will need- all appliances, tv, wifi, comfortable furniture and best of all a sunroom that overlooks the water. Sitting in the chairs, listening to the waves lap up against the cottage with a cup of coffee in the morning- it doesn't get much better than that! The swimming area is clean and clear, we enjoyed many hours sitting by the water. It is relatively private, there is another property near by, but we were never bothered by noise. It was the perfect tranquil spot. If you are looking for day trips, it is a short drive to the Weir's beach and there are numerous restaurants and shops nearby. We went on a wonderful hike on Belknap Mountain, which was about a 15 minute drive away. Craig is fantastic, the app that he provides upon check in has all the information you will need for your stay and if there is absolutely anything else you need he is very accessible and will respond quickly. I really cannot say enough great things about this property. We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to come back next summer!! Thank you Craig and family for sharing such a special place with us!

A Perfect Place To Stay

5 of 5
We had a wonderful family week. Everything was as promised. We were a large group ranging from ages 96 down to 1 plus 3 dogs, and to please all of them can be tough. There was plenty of space to gather as a group or to go off to be alone. We rented a canoe for the week so everone had a turn to paddle around the island. Just around the bend from the house was a small island with Bald Eagles. What a treat to view them up close. The water was so clean and calm, people and dogs loved it. There was plenty to do all around the lake from shopping to museums to eating to sight seeing, and back at the cottage there were nightly pool and ping pong games. The outside deck was perfect to sit and relax and large enough to have meals. Everything was in excellent condition and it felt like home after about a day. The only thing we missed was not being able to use the firepit to sit out at night and make smores. We went to the fire dept to get a permit but the told us the owner had to send them a letter to give their approval. Oh Well, we survived. All in all it was a wonderful week and very accomodating for larger groups.

Weekend Getaway

4 of 5
We stayed at this property for a long weekend and even know mother nature wasn't 100% on our side, we still had a great time. There was plenty of space for our two families which included 4 adults and 3 kids ages 4yrs-8yrs. They all loved the rope swing. We drove an hour to Cannon Mt and Flume Gorge and spent our final day at Weirs Beach. (short 20 min away) Dinner at Patricks was fantastic!! Our evenings were spent out by the firepit which was perfect. For the kids sake, they wish they had basic cable to enjoy a morning show on the Disney Channel . Free WiFi was a bonus! :)One recommendation we have is to bring your own beach chairs. Although they are provided, if you plan to stop at a beach on your way home, you'll need a chair to sit in!! (that's a problem we had) Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
